“ my fathers house has many rooms, if they were not sold, would I have told you that I am going to have to prepare a place for you“. John 14:2. “ even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and your staff. They comfort me.“ Although I did not know Lawrence personally, I felt a strength, presents and spirit through his daughter Linda as she told me of her father. They will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. “Do not let your hearts be troubled“ for Lawrence is with the Lord and he now watches over his family. My deepest condolences to the entire family. May you know that God is by your side and may you feel his deep tender love with you every moment of every day. Dear Terry, Linda, Peter, Lance, Namaswaree, Kamal, Claudia (Googie), Kahn daughter-in-laws and grandchildren, I offer my condolences to you as a sister of Buddie Winnie, as auntie Norma, as a friend of your grandmothers, Kamal and Claudia (Googie). As I write this note, and in this time of your grief, Uncle Chaps with uncle Herman and our Guyanese family are holding a wake for your father, grandfather, and our Buddie Winne. Bless you Chaps, for the little, special and important things you do!!! For many years we (Johnny, Norman, Janey, Chaps, Arnold, Mary, Doreen and Sandra) shared the same roof as your father and grandfather, Lawrence Kahn (Buddie Winnie). We shared the same mother and father (Edward and Christina Ferguson), we shared the same pot of good food, and we shared the same values that made us who we are. We went our separate ways … but blood is thicker than water, the bond is there… The heart hurts when there is loss especially when there is loss of your blood….
