She graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1959, and remained active with the alumni association throughout her life. She received a master’s degree in mathematics from Hunter College, and a master’s in religious education from Fordham University.

Ann loved spending time with her family, hosting holiday dinners, the New York Botanical Gardens, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, afternoons on the beach, and attending the New York City Ballet with her friends. She was intelligent, elegant, dignified, meticulous, funny and never judged anyone; she accepted people for who they were. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.
