ANNUAL CANDLELIGHT REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY AND TREE LIGHTING

The Ruggiero family invites you to join in our annual ceremony of remembrance and commemoration.

Each year, a holiday tree is decorated and lighted by family members of those who have died in tribute to the life, death and spirit of their loved ones. All are welcome to bring a homemade and personalized ornament to decorate the tree as part of the memorialization. Sponsored as a community service by the Ruggiero family, there is no fee for the event. The treelighting commemoration ceremony has been held for the past 17 years and all are invited to participate.

The annual events are scheduled for the second Sunday of every December. They take place in an outdoor canopy, regardless of weather conditions, so dressing appropriately is strongly suggested. Warming refreshments are served. The annual Yonkers ceremonies are scheduled from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Times are subject to change.
