Louis Ortiz, 82, of Bronx, NY died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Montefiore North Medical Center in the Bronx.

He was the beloved husband of Aida (nee Martinez) and the loving father of Richard Ortiz, Yvette Reyes, Paul Ortiz and Anthony Ortiz. The dear grandfather of Richard, Jr. and Sophia Ortiz, Shaun, Daniel and Melina Reyes, Jasmine, Aida, Gabriella, Gianna, Luis and Ivana Ortiz, he was also the cherished great grandfather of Aiyana, Azelia, Brianna, Serenity and Ivan.

Funeral Service Monday 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow on Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY after leaving the funeral home at 11 a.m.
