Charles Louis Dumberger, on February 22, 2010, just shy of his 89th birthday, passed peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife of 56 years Rosemary (nee Powers) by his side.

Charlie was a devoted husband and loving father of Mary Elizabeth O'Hea and Dyana Lee (and her husband John C. Sabetta) and an ever doting grandfather to Elizabeth Rose O'Hea and Giancarlo Sabetta. Charlie leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever remember his warm and ready smile, easy wit and gentle spirit.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 25, 2010, 9:45 am at St. Brendan's Church, E. 206th Street, Bronx, NY, with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
