Thomas J. Dowd, Jr., of Yonkers, NY, a retired Customer Engineer for IBM after 30 years, died February 11, 2010 at his home, two days before his 78th birthday.

Born in Bronx, NY on February 13, 1932, he was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine Kelly Dowd. He was the devoted husband of 57 years of Lois Cilento Dowd and the beloved father of Thomas and Patricia, both of Somers, NY. A sister, Mary Cilento died earlier.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at St. Joseph's Church, Kraft Avenue and Cedar Street, Bronxville, NY.  Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
