Marcello Giordano, age 82, of New Rochelle, NY died February 9, 2010 at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle.

He was the beloved husband of Anna for 60 years, and the dear father of Michael (and his wife,  Carmen) Giordano and Lisa (and her husband, Val) Chiera.  He was also the loving grandfather of Natalie, Michelle and Marc Michael and is survived by a brother, Vincenzo and a sister, Laura, both of Italy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 15 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY.  Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson, NY. 

Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at F. RUGGIERO & SONS, Inc., 732 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704 - (1-914) 375-1400

Will always remember watching Marc from the kitchen window doing his gardening. I treasure, particularly, the drawing Jason made as a little boy of Marc's fig trees covered with the blankets. Ann and Marc gave my children some wonderful memories... he will be missed.
